My Review of the Starlight Square Bright Light Pillow As Seen On TV

After seeing ad for the Bright Light Pillow, I wondered if it would be a waste of money like alot of As Seen On Tv products are.  I have to say that I was pleasantly surprised with this pillow.  I will highlight a few of the reasons I think make this a great buy and a few of the things that I did not like about it.

First off the Bright Light Pillow first and foremost is really a comfy pillow.  I was concerned that it was just a novelty pillow that would not be very soft, but that was not the case here.  It is made of a soft polyester which is very very cozy.

The main reason for getting this pillow would be the light up function.  Luckly the brightness of the starlight square are about the correct brightness.  They are not so bright that they will keep children from sleeping, but yet bright enough to keep them from being scared of the dark.  This pillow lets them control the darkness which will help them to overcome their fear of the dark and sleeping without the lights on.  The Bright Light Pillow uses LEDs which will not get hot or admit any heat.  They are safe to use and sleep on.  The lights will last for 100's of hours and use normal AAA batteries.  All you have to do to turn on the lights is squeeze the bright light and it will turn on and randomly alternate between red, white, blue, yellow and green.  The pillow will automatically turn off after 15 minutes. Its like this generations Glow Worm.

The pillow is not that expensive.  At the moment its going for $28.31 on Amazon with free shipping. Considering the calming nights of sleep it will allow your child to have, I consider it a very good bargain at this price.  I have seen it going for much more in stores so I think Amazon is the best place to buy it from.

The only bad thing I can say about the Bright Light is the fact that it does not have a way to turn the light off manually other than the 15 minute timer.  You either have to wait for it to turn off or pull out the battery pack and switch it off as another reviewer has mentioned.  While not a huge flaw it is kind of annoying.

All in all the Bright Light Pillow is a wonderful product and I highly recommend it for anyone with children who do not like to sleep in the dark.  You will not be disappointed.
